another lovely stay at the Vineyard
Our third visit to the Vineyard and it was just as lovely as we remembered, if a little more crowded! Comfortable, modern rooms in a wonderful, riverside garden setting with a mountain backdrop. Service with a smile was still very good and we loved our few days there with lots of friends from London. Still very good value despite the fall in sterling.

exceptional 4 Star property
There is nothing to not like about this hotel. Quiet relaxing location in the most beautiful gardens imaginable. 15 mins taxi ride from the busy Waterfront area, but don’t let that put anyone off, a taxi ride in SA is so reasonably priced. We took a deluxe room…. very spacious. Lovely staff. Delicious food. Great pool and gym. Would definitely return for a longer stay next time.

We stayed in this hotel in late December for two nights during our honeymoon and it was fantastic! It is a big hotel with beautiful gardens and a great view of Table Mountain. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and we loved our room which was spacious, modern and clean. The breakfasts were very nice and you can sit outside with a view of Table Mountain. We ate in the hotel restaurant and had the seven-course taster menu with wine pairing and it was extremely good. Our waiter Ezequiel was very friendly and professional. The hotel is near Kirstenbosch Gardens which are worth a visit. We would recommend this hotel and would love to stay there again.

It’s one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Well done!! The service, room and food were truly amazing. The hotel itself was full of history and for the price. What price?

sun met weekend away
What an astonishing hotel! From the outset, we were met with friendliness and efficiency, not to mention the picturesque location. Simply breathtaking! Our stay may have been a short one however, it was one that left an impression. Definitely one of my top 10 favourites to date. Service- superb. Food- brilliant. Location- second to none.
When in Cape Town, do yourself a favour and stop ever, you won’t be disappointed!
