The countdown to the festive season has begun… Join us for our festive feasts with all the treats and all the trimmings!
We kick off with our Christmas Eve dinner (18H30 at the Square restaurant, R695pp) followed by Christmas Day lunch (14h30 in the Square and Garden Lounge, R695 pp). These each have their own menus, but follow a similar format: after pulling your luxury Christmas crackers, you’ll receive your choice of delicious plated starter. Then choose your festive favourites from the lavish carvery (three traditional roasts) and buffet (crunchy cold salads plus hot mains, sides, sauces and trimmings). Dessert is your choice of two delectable plated puds.
New Year’s Eve dinner (18h30 at the Square restaurant, R925 pp) is a five-course set-menu extravaganza that includes luxury Christmas crackers, arrival drink, live music and a glass of sparkling wine at midnight. Diners can look forward to kingklip and trout carpaccio, ostrich eye fillet with wild mushroom souffle, beef fillet, and a collection of decadent dessert treats. The vegetarian menu offers camembert with field mushrooms, spicy butternut and eggplant tian, wild mushroom ravioli with baby beets, and the assiette of desserts (spiced pear and ginger pudding, dark chocolate torte and cherry compote, and a red-velvet gateaux). Both menus include a gin-and-tonic sorbet palate cleanser.
