Angsana Spa takes its name from the exotic Angsana Tree, noted
for its crown of golden fragrant flowers that burst into bloom
unexpectedly for just one day. Its philosophy is to seize life
spontaneously, to sense the moment and savour time as it passes
inexorably. Angsana Spa is owned by Banyan Tree Hotels &
Resorts. The lifestyle-oriented spa offers spa products and
accessories, traditional handicrafts, resort style home furnishings
and unique gifts, keeping alive village craft skill and gainful
employment for the communities. The first Angsana Spa was founded
in 1998 and since then, the group has branched out to include
establishments in Australia, Maldives, Indonesia, India, Thailand
and Taiwan.
